Information Services: 1996 I did this design as part of a RPD (Rapid Prototype and Development) team at vivid for Oracle, who was building this personalized news service for CNN. This was the first of two design concepts I did for the project. I wanted to do something modern and sophisticated. Something rich in feel but inexpensive on bandwidth. Below is the "Ticker" which would actually be detachable from the page and could sit alone on one's desktop and flash headline stories In the end, I think this design turned out to be a bit swoopy for Oracle. The final product looked more like the second of the two designs. |
