| Corporate: Sun 1997 Sun was looking for design ideas to rebuild of a couple of existing sites. They'd build it out. They just wanted design from vivid. We, (ID's Drüe Miller, Gayle Curtis, Producer David deAndreas and I) were originally going to do just three, but wound up doing a lot more, which we eventually refined down to a final 3. I just can't remember which 3 they were... This was one of the earliest explorations. The 3d and photographic elements were very well received, especially my sunken branding treatment which became known as the "orb". We all laughed when Drüe kiddingly suggested the keyboard. Who knew it'd stick...? |
